Indian Artists in Italy for the BRIC project

The very first group of Indian artists have arrived in Italy. The second follows suit on 4^thJuly .The two groups shall cumulatively be there from 20^th of June and 13^th of July escorted by an ENIT representative, important Indian journalists and photo reporters to capture, document and make this a forever memorable event; an event that shall be a truly unique experience and shall be very appealing for both India and Italy.

The trip to Italy of the Indian artists will enrich their artistic career and will mostly be the beginning and source of a new inspiration for the production of works, which are intended to be exposed in an event of big promotional impact and media – the key of this ENIT project for the BRIC countries. The project will take place in the main cities of the BRIC countries which are in India: Mumbai, New Delhi & Bangalore in March-April 2012. For china: Canton, Shanghai and Beijing, for Russia: Moscow, San Petersbourg and Ekateringburg between August and October and Brazil: Sao Paolo, Porto Alegre and Rio de Janiero in the months of October and November.

There are two programmed itineraries, both in the Tyrrhenian and the Adriatic Sea. A total of 20 regions will be shown to the Indian guests with the aim of showcasing the multiple aspects of the places, with didactic material regarding its art, history, culture, wine and food, environment, the land and all the traditions that make Italy a unique brand in the world.

India will conclude the first faze of the Project ITALIA COMES TO YOU, www.italiacomestoyou.com, an innovating promotion of the touristic Italy that will have hosted 40 artists, around 18 journalists and photo reporters, coming from the 4 BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China), that are today more than ever, the centre of the world for their economic growth.
